PMU Machines
PMU stands for Permanent Makeup, and a PMU machine, also known as a tattooing machine or a micropigmentation machine, is a device used in the cosmetic industry for applying permanent makeup. It functions similarly to a tattoo machine but is specifically designed for applying pigments to the skin in a more controlled and precise manner.
PMU machines typically consist of a handheld device with a needle or cartridge system that delivers pigment into the skin. The needle is inserted into the machine and moves rapidly up and down, depositing the pigment into the desired area. These machines often offer adjustable settings for needle depth, speed, and pigment flow, allowing the technician to customize the procedure based on the client’s needs and the desired results.
Permanent makeup procedures performed with PMU machines include microblading for eyebrows, eyeliner tattooing, lip blush, and scalp micropigmentation, among others. These machines are essential tools for permanent makeup artists, enabling them to create long-lasting, natural-looking enhancements to their clients’ features.
